It all started when...

Sometimes the way to success is to jump right in without hesitation and plow ahead. That’s exactly what happened in 2010 when sisters, Rachel Blum and Jaclyn Blum Guelfi, joined forces after their father, Leon, passed unexpectedly. They were left with Window Factory, a window and door replacement company he established in 1995. These two women teamed up and made some important changes that would launch their father’s legacy into a new generation. They pooled their skills and developed a business strategy that included a revised infrastructure, reduced expenses and a re-vamped marketing strategy.

Since then, Window Factory has grown at a steady rate by leading with a “can do” attitude and stressing customer service, above all.  At the outset, however, the sisters faced some initial resistance to their status as young women in the generally male-dominated field of construction. This only inspired them to work harder at becoming experts in window and door sales, design and installation. With varied backgrounds, Rachel and Jaclyn combined their strengths to breathe new life into the business and build it into the flourishing company it is today.

Rachel and Jaclyn are proud second-generation owners of a business that has grown under their direction for half a decade and they are looking to a future of continued growth. As mothers, community members and local business owners, this pair treats every client like a family friend.

“When we took the company over from our father 10 years ago, we really didn’t know where we would land because at the time, the home construction industry was suffering. We can now say with confidence that Window Factory weathered the storm and continues to carry a reputation of excellence in quality, affordability and customer satisfaction. We are very proud of the customer service we offer and know our father would be too!”
